Lose Yourself in Your Reading
The most elegant feature of a physical book is that it disappears while you’re reading. Immersed in the author’s world and ideas, you don’t notice a book’s glue, the stitching, or ink. Our top design objective is to make kindle disappear — just like a physical book — so you can get lost in your reading, not the technology.
kindle is easy to hold and read. We designed our e-reader with long-form reading in mind. When reading for long periods of time, people naturally shift positions and often like to read with one hand. Kindle’s page-turning buttons are located on both sides, allowing you to read and turn pages from any position.
Precise 5-Way Controller
kindle has an easy-to-use 5-way controller, enabling precise on-screen navigation for selecting text to highlight or looking up words. No on-screen fingerprints.
Never Gets Hot
Unlike a laptop, kindle never gets hot so you can read comfortably as long as you like.

I LOVE IT., May 11, 2012
I love it, I can’t live without it. They updated the software and now you can even tap a word and look it up in Wikipedia and read a book in panoramic view.
So far, so good., May 11, 2012
I just received the kindle Touch 3G. Everything seems to work okay. I subscribed to three magazines using the 3G with no problems. I was able to sync up with my laptop to transfer several novels to the kindle. All in all, a good experience.
Just What I Wanted!, May 11, 2012
I purchased the kindle Touch after 2 months of comparison shopping and evaluating the available options. My first major limiting factor was price. I was not able to spend more than $100 on an ebook reader which limited me to the kindle, kindle Touch, and Nook Simple Touch. I chose the Kindle Touch because it had more features than the Nook and seemed simpler to use than the original Kindle.
Since purchasing, I could not have been more pleased with my Kindle. The batter lasts a very long time. I’ve owned it for 2 months now and only needed to charge it once. I read for a minimum of 1 hour a day and often more. I find it simple to use. I love that it interfaces with the library so I can read more books for free. I am excited to see how many free Kindle books there are in general.
I also purchased a cover for my Kindle, and this is the only area where I am dissatisfied with it. When I close the cover and carry it, the cover sometimes presses on the screen and turns the page. Other times, the cover presses the home button.
